My horse has extremely bad arthritis. I have him on Trifecta and am considering adding Joint Guard to help him out as much as I can. Would I be overdoing the joint support if I did this? Should I consider just switching to Joint Guard?”

Answer by Ph.D. Equine Nutritionist, Kelsey Johnson Nonella:

Sorry to hear about your horse. I would recommend keeping him on Trifecta and adding the Joint Guard. There are so many things in Trifecta that really help an older horse out like the probiotics. You don’t need to worry about getting too high of levels of any of the nutraceuticals. I think the addition of Joint Guard should help him with his stiffness.
