Crude Protein In Horse Guard

“Can you tell me what the protein % in Horse Guard is?”

Answer by Ph.D. Equine Nutritionist, Kelsey Johnson Nonella:

Horse Guard is approximately 12% crude protein. However, because fed at only 2 oz per day to a 1000 lb horse, the amount of protein received from the supplement is very little when compared to the whole diet.  High-quality hays and grains are where the majority of the protein content will come from.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I can answer any more questions.

Thank you for the question. Yes, Super Weight Gain will improve top line. Not only due to the fact it has increased levels of Vitamin E to increase muscle mass, but as well the Organic Selenium which is important for muscle recovery therefor building muscle.
Thank you and good luck! Please take before and afters and submit them to our Facebook page for a gift!
