Can I Feed Trifecta To My Broodmare?

“I have a 13yr old broodmare who has an arthritic knee due to boney changes from being kicked in the knee as a yearling. I currently give her Horse Guard with her mare/foal feed. I was wondering if the Trifecta is safe to give to broodmares in foal?”

Answer by Equine Nutritionist and owner, Del Johnson:

Thanks for the question.  You are meeting important nutrient requirements with Horse Guard …especially during pregnancy.  The Trifecta will provide all that Horse Guard does plus additional nutrients that will benefit both foal and mare.  Yes …it is safe and beneficial to feed during pregnancy.
