Complete Vitamin Mineral Supplements

These supplements are considered complete. They have a broad range of essential vitamins and minerals. Each complete supplement we offer is based upon our original Horse Guard formulation and some are targeted towards a specific need beyond health maintenance. All of our Complete Supplements are formulated with Organic Selenium and pharmaceutical grade ingredients.

Hoof Treatment

There's an old saying that goes, "no hoof, no horse". Fortunately, modern science has shown very clearly how to help your horse have healthy, vital hooves and it starts with good over-all nutrition. Therefore, we strongly encourage all horse owners to make sure all of their horse's nutritional needs are met by supplying a high quality multi-vitamin mineral supplement.

It has also been proven in many scientific studies that certain vitamins, minerals and amino acids have direct impact on the hoof. The three most important of these are biotin, methionine and zinc.

Joint Treatment

Joint Therapy: Arthritis in horses is caused by a combination of factors. Two of these factors are use in performance activities and age. Both can cause horses to have problems resulting in arthritis. Supplementing with MSM, HA, Chondroitin, and Glucosamine will assist greatly in restoring freedom of movement, pain control and restoration of normal joint fluid.

Weight Gain / Digestive Health

A healthy horse begins with in the digestive track. Horses under stress, on medication, suffering from mal-nutrition and in competition all benefit from bacterial inoculants. Bacteria inoculants improve digestion, improve disease resistance and stabilize the gut.

We offer bacteria inoculants, commonly call "probiotics", in three of our complete vitamin-mineral supplements (Mega-Dose, Super Gain, Trifecta) and also by themselves in a yeast-based product. All our Probiotics strains have been carefully selected to survive the pelleting (cold water-heat kills probiotics) or mixing product and are guaranteed viable through the conservative "best used date" on our products.
